Helaman 5:51 And as many as were convinced did lay down their weapons of war, and also their hatred and the tradition of their fathers. 52 And it came to pass that they did yield up unto the Nephites the lands of their possession.
I like the Book of Mormon verse. The warriors get converted and drop their swords and go home. I also liked the OT verse particularly cuz Isaiah tells a sick man God has heard his prayer and he will live 15 more years. I wonder if the man prayed again 15 years later.
